How Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Tours are Operated
You will be picked up from your accommodation and transported to the balloon company office for a quick breakfast and registration. The balloon tour will begin roughly 1.5 hours before sunrise. While you’re having your breakfast, the pilots check the weather to find the best take-off locations. Each day, these take-off points will change to ensure that you have the greatest possible flight experience. You will be taken to the specified take-off position after receiving confirmation from the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority. While waiting for the balloons to be ready, you may see the final steps of balloon inflation. After preparations are completed, your 1-hour flight begins over the unique landscape of Cappadocia. Please note that this duration might be 10 minutes more or less depending on weather conditions. After landing safely, our guests will be offered a traditional champagne celebration and given their flight certificates to remind them of this unique experience. Later, they will be transferred back to their hotel with great memories.
Important Notes
Since this tour starts early in the morning, you are advised to bring a jacket or hoodie.
Children under 6 years old are not allowed to fly.
